Link event(s)窶ｦ
When you want an event to be sent to a unique application running on the same computer as DynRisk, it is not necessary to tell the program where the target is. DynRisk will automatically find the right application. However, if for some reason you run several copies of the same application simultaneously, or you want to send events to applications running on other computers, you must explicitly specify the targets. This is done by selecting an event node representing the target application, and then choose the 窶廰ink event(s)窶 command. This will bring up a standard dialog box where you can navigate to find the right application.
Note! You cannot link events to different copies of the same application simultaneously. Thus, if you select e.g., a DynLP event node, and link this to DynLP running on say Bill's Mac, then all DynLP event nodes in all your models will be linked to this particular DynLP application, until you change this by choosing a different target. Note also that link settings are not saved along with the model. If e.g., you want to do all DynLP calculations on Bill's Mac, then you must do the link operation each time you start up DynRisk.
